PALM HARBOR, FL – St. Mark Village, a continuing care retirement community, has promoted Randall Rees from care center administrator to vice president of healthcare services.
Rees has been a team member at St. Mark Village for three years. Born and raised in Florida, he attended Florida State University for his undergraduate studies and the University of Central Florida for his master’s in business administration, where he focused specifically on health care administration.
“Randall has been instrumental in building an experienced, caring and genuine team in our higher levels of care,” said President and CEO Jeff Gorddard. “A five-star rating in healthcare services across the board is nearly impossible, but Randall and his team have come together and have made our healthcare center the place to be when it comes to care and rehabilitation.”
Rees has over 10 years of experience operating skilled nursing facilities and short-term rehabilitation centers.
“It’s more than just a job serving here at St. Mark Village,” said Rees. “These residents are family and providing them quality care is a responsibility I and the entire care center team take very seriously. This promotion is very much appreciated and comes at a very special time for my wife Jennifer and I as we just welcomed our first child, a daughter, into this world just this past summer!”
St. Mark Village recently earned a five-star rating in all three healthcare categories by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). The organization was also recognized by U.S. News & World Report as a 2023-2024 Best Independent Living, Memory Care, and Continuing Care Retirement Community in 2023.
