February 13, 2024 – St. Mark Village, an award-winning continuing care retirement community, has earned a deficiency-free clinical survey from the Florida Agency of Health Care Administration (AHCA) during a recent in-depth re-licensure inspection for the Health Care Center.
AHCA is responsible for licensing and regulating health care facilities throughout Florida and providing information to the community about the quality of care it provides. AHCA routinely conducts surveys of all senior living communities throughout Florida to help ensure that residents consistently receive quality healthcare in a safe environment.
“We’re proud of all of our team members,” said President and CEO Jeff Gorddard. “The efforts of so many people and departments at St. Mark Village contribute to the superior care we provide. As we are one of the few senior living providers in the local area that offer a true continuum of care, it brings great pride that we continue to be recognized, both locally and nationally, for setting the standard of quality.”
“This is just another result that acknowledges the exceptional dedication of our team and the compassionate care we provide,” said Vice President of Healthcare Services Randall Rees. “Our team members work closely with residents and families here at St. Mark Village to ensure the highest level of care is provided at all times.”
St. Mark Village recently earned a five-star rating in all three healthcare categories by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
